Caravedo
quebranta
An award-winning puro style Peruvian pisco, Caravedo Quebranta is the purest expression of Peru’s revered “macho grape,” the Quebranta varietal. Sustainably harvested and hand-crafted at Destilería La Caravedo Est. 1684, the oldest working distillery in the Americas.
Method of Production: Single-distilled to 40% ABV (80 proof), each 750ml bottle requires approximately 3 kilos (7 lbs.) of Quebranta grapes. Distilled from 100% fully fermented grape juice (pure wine—never pomace) and rested for a minimum of six months. Crafted with no additives of any kind: no color, no water, no sugar, no wood flavoring. Distillation takes place in alambique copper pot stills.
